AckkStudios has revealed in a recent PlayStation Blog post that its latest project, Y2K, will be heading to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Y2K is a 3D turn-based RPG, drawing inspiration from the Mother series and Haruki Murakami. The game is said to be story-heavy, with its premise involving the year 2000 problem and the death of a young woman due a malfunctioning elevator.
The developer announced that an early demo of Y2K will be available to play at PlayStation Experience in Nevada this December. The full game is scheduled to be released in late 2015/early 2016. AckkStudios' previous game, Chromophore: Two Brothers, is a GBA-inspired title that was originally released for PC in 2013, with a Wii U release planned for late 2014/early 2015.
