Namco Bandai has announced a new Tales of game coming to the PlayStation 3: Tales of Zestiria. For the first time in series history, the game was announced for global release at the same time as it was revealed to Japan. This doesn't mean that the global release will be simultaneous, but the game is definitely coming to North America and Europe.

Tales of Zestiria is said to be a return to the roots of the series, with a fantasy setting and characters designed by all four character creators. The title indeed aims to evoke a sense of zest for adventure. So far we have seen a male and female character, as well as confirmation that dragons will be involved in the story somehow.
