Overhaul Games and Atari have announced that Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition is now available for pre-purchase on PC and Mac ahead of its planned release date of November 15, 2013. The Enhanced Edition will include both Shadows of Amn and the Throne of Bhaal expansion, as well as four new allies, complete with their own quests, and an arena challenge titled The Black Pits 2: Gladiators of Thay.

In addition to the PC and Mac versions, there are also plans for Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition to be released on iOS and Android tablets, although the time frame for those platforms is yet to be announced.
