Atlus USA has recently announced the localization of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers for the 3DS. The game is slated for a spring 2013 release in North America. Soul Hackers originally came out on the Sega Saturn, then later on the PlayStation in Japan, but was never brought out in other regions.
Soul Hackers takes place in a high-tech near future where the world is connected to a vast computer network. A nefarious centuries-old society is stealing people's souls through a virtual world they created and its up to an amateur group of hackers to stop them. The 3DS remake sports thirty new demons, a new animated opening and theme song, and quicker loading times.
Atlus also released a teaser trailer, which can be viewed below.
