The official release date for pirate RPG Risen 2: Dark Waters has been announced by Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes. North American RPGamers can begin preparations to set sail on April 24th, 2012, with their European counterparts following shortly afterwards on April 27th, 2012.

Box art for the game has also been revealed and can be viewed below. The game will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
