Nippon Ichi Software has announced a new action RPG titled Legasista. It will be developed in conjunction with System Prisma, the team behind the Cladun series. Legasista is an action RPG with customizable characters, and will be coming out in Japan next March.
The gameplay in Legasista involves exploring randomized dungeons with customizable characters. Alto, the main character, is searching for a cure to a curse that has stricken his sister, turning her to stone. Alto will be exploring dungeons with a total party of three, fighting giant monsters, solving puzzles, and dealing with traps. The characters will be customizable using an edit program that supports both the game's native hi-res graphics and a lower-res pixel-style editing system.
Legasista will feature six job types and a real-time action combat system. The party's characters will have varying abilities despite their customizable nature. In addition, the game will include a stamina system for equipment, in which gear slowly wears down as a dungeon is explored and may break if a character takes too much abuse.
