Nintendo has officially announced that Pokémon Heart Gold/Soul Silver will be released in North America on March 13, 2010. Heart Gold and Soul Silver are remakes of the original Pokémon Gold/Silver with updated graphics and sound, new touch screen controls, and other enhancements.

According to English packaging shown on Amazon.com*, Pokémon Heart Gold/Soul Silver will come with the Pokéwalker accessory. The Pokéwalker is a pedometer that continues Nintendo's current trend of adding active options to gaming, allowing players to raise a Pokémon's experience and affection with every step.

*Note: As of the evening of 12/14/09, the original packaging shown on Amazon.com has been replaced with generic logos. Nintendo has not officially confirmed that the Pokéwalker will be included in the North American version of Heart Gold/Soul Silver.
