Nintendo has announced that Glory of Heracles for the Nintendo DS has been dated for January 18, 2010. This marks the first Glory of Heracles title to ever be published in North America.

The game is inspired by Greek mythology and was written by Kazushige Nojima of the Final Fantasy fame. Featuring an engrossing plot, the game will give players the chance to explore ancient settings like Athens and Sparta. Although the game is deeply rooted in Greek mythology, the plot is purely fiction, though the game does include an extensive glossary in case players are not as familiar with the characters or setting.

Players can opt using both the the stylus or the control pad for movement. Touch controls are included and will be necessary to complete some tasks.
