Given Atlus' recent track record for releasing the Shin Megami Tensei series stateside, localization for the latest entry is anticipated. Atlus had also claimed earlier that Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey was also intentionally set in Antarctica for the purposes of making the game more appealing to international audiences.

Amazon.ca had Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey listed for pre-order to release on March 10, 2010, which is a reasonable expectation for the amount of time to localize the game. Other Atlus published games do not appear to be listed on the site at this time, and the pre-order option and listing for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey was also quickly removed.
