Announced for North American release in late 2008 by XSEED Games, news about Arc Rise Fantasia has been quiet over the last few months. Today, things have been made clearer as Ignition Entertainment has made it public that it is the new publisher of Arc Rise Fantasia for the Nintendo Wii.

Shane Bettenhausen, New Business Development Director of Ignition Entertainment said, "We are absolutely thrilled to bring Arc Rise Fantasia to a western audience. It's an ambitious Japanese role-playing game with deep gameplay, top-notch production values, and an unforgettable storyline -- Wii owners have been pining for a massive fantasy epic and their patience will definitely be rewarded."

This marks the second release initially announced by XSEED Games in conjunction with Marvelous Entertainment to move over to Ignition, with Muramasa: The Demon Blade being the first. Arc Rise Fantasia is now scheduled for a release in Summer 2010 according to Ignition.
