Atlus has announced that it will be releasing The Dark Spire for the Nintendo DS in North America on March 10, 2009. A first person RPG, this title features both a modern and classic interface. Players can experience the game with colorful textures and stylized graphics, or they can play the game as if it were an old-school, wire-frame RPG title.

The Dark Spire, once home to a goblin empire, has been made home to Archmage Tyrhung, a powerful magician that has stolen a necklace of immeasurable wealth. The story is told through a second person narrative that features codpieces and killer rabbits, which eventually leads to three possible final outcomes for players.
