KDV games studio has announced its new Action RPG, Amphibian Man, based on the science fiction novel of the same name written by Alexander Belyaev in 1928. The game will be released for both the PC and PS3 and will have a cyberpunk style.

Amphibian Man takes place in the twenty-first century when scientific breakthroughs have changed the face of humanity, allowing humans to fully function under water without life-support equipment. Mankind rushes to fill its need for global exploration by plumbing the depths of the oceans. Because of this, conflicts have arisen between factions and countries. As the world heads into crisis, civilization is on the verge of a global-scale war.

The game has been developed using an updated model of the Vistagame Engine (developed by KDV games studio). At present, no release date has been announced.
