Bethesda Softworks has announced that the Shivering Isles expansion for the PS3 version of The Elder Scroll IV: Oblivion will be coming out on November 20, 2007. The game will be released as a standalone retail disc.

The release of the PS3 version of Shivering Isles follows shortly after the October release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition. Oblivion GotY is a complete set that includes the original game and both Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine expansions. For those of you who have bought the original Oblivion game for the PS3, which already included Knights of the Nine, the news of a standalone Shivering Isles expansion means you can continue your adventure without having to purchase the full Game of the Year Edition.
