TOMY Corporation and D3Publisher of America, Inc. have announced today that their Nintendo DS title has gone gold and will ship to retail outlets on October 23. Naruto: Path of the Ninja is the first Naruto role-playing game to be released outside of Japan.

Naruto: Path of the Ninja will utilize a time based combat system that features the series' favorite characters and their strengths to defeat the enemy. Popular locations such as the Village Hidden in the Leaves mark the title with a touch of familiarity for fans of the series.

The ESRB have rated Naruto: Path of the Ninja E10+ for cartoon violence. Look for it in your local game store on October 23.
