Gamers anxious to get their hands on the highly anticipated expansion to World of Warcraft will have to wait a bit longer. World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is now set for release on January 5, 2007.
Blizzard Entertainment has stated the delay is to add extra polish to the game and give beta testers more time to give feedback on the expansion during the final development phase.
When it is finally released, the expansion will add two new races, new monsters, a raised level cap, new lands to explore, and a plethora of new quests on which to embark. World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade has an MSRP of $39.99 and is rated T for "Teen."
