After this year's Tokyo Game Show, producers are adding onto the media blitz for the latest next-gen games. Akihiro Hino, president of Level 5 and White Knight Story's producer, is no different as he spoke with Japanese magazine Famitsu on his thoughts about the upcoming PlayStation 3 RPG.
"With White Knight Story, we don't want to release a half-way product. We want to have a big title that surpasses the volume of RPGs we've made in the past," said Hino, referring to his goal in making the game have up to 50 to 60 hours of playtime.
Despite this goal, Hino revealed that Level 5 might need to cut the story short. Hino observed that the decision hinges on whether or not the game will be released on cue with the PlayStation 3's launch.
Hino shared no new details about the game, but added his input regarding the next generation of gaming: "The Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3, the DS and the PSP... I think this will be the most exciting year and period ever."
