Ubisoft announced today that is has inked a deal with Square Enix to publish Drakengard 2 for the PlayStation 2 in North America and Europe. This would not be the first time Ubisoft has published a game for Square Enix; it also published Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and Final Fantasy XI in Europe.

Known as Drag-On Dragoon 2 in Japan, Drakengard 2 is expected to ship in other territories in March 2006. We'll keep you informed as the release date narrows.
