Square Enix has opened the official site for Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King and announced that they will be updating it throughout the week. Currently, the site houses details on the story of the game, a description of the game's features, screens, and the trailer. Those interested in getting a taste of the game may still signup on the site to receive a free demo.

When Dhoulmagus, the evil jester, stole the forbidden sceptor and used it to place a curse on the land, one person was left untouched, the hero of this story. It is now up to the player to embark out into the world to save it from the evil that was unleashed upon it. RPGamer will have more details on the site as they are unveiled.
