The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Bethesda Game Studios announced this week that more Hollywood talent has been added to the voice acting cast of its upcoming Xbox 360 and PC title The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Sean Bean, better known as Lord Boromir in the Lord the Rings trilogy, will provide the voice of the emperor’s son. Terence Stamp will also lend his talents to the production of the game as the villain of the story. While Stamp is new to video game voice acting, he is no stranger to Hollywood; his career history includes playing Supreme Chancellor Valorum in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and General Zod in the Superman films.

"We wanted to work with voice talent that really captured the emotion and drama of the game's story," said Todd Howard, executive producer for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. "Quite honestly, we wrote the parts with these individual actors in mind. It's an honor to have them lend their talents to the project."

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is scheduled to be released sometime this year for Xbox 360 and PC. Keep watching RPGamer for further information concerning this anticipated title.
