Ys VI Transfers To Another System

Konami has announced they will port Ys: The Ark of Napishtim to the PSP following the release of its upcoming PS2 port. The title will be available January 20, 2005 for the price of 4,800 yen.

This version will include all the bonus features available on the DVD edition for the PC. One feature includes a nightmare mode, which enhances the difficulty of the game tremendously. Another is the boss time-attack battle mode, in which players can battle any of the bosses previously beaten without having to play the game again.

Ys: The Ark of Napishtim will be available worldwide for the PS2 later this year. A PSP release date for North America has not been set.
