Knights of the Old Republic II Website Goes Live

Lucasarts has announced that the official website for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is now live. The site offers a wealth of new details on the highly-anticipated sequel.

Five game characters are profiled on the site:

• Mira, a bounty hunter with a reluctance to kill
• Darth Sion, a Sith assassin whose broken body is held together by sheer force of will
• Atton Rand, a pilot and gambler constantly beset by disaster
• Kreia, a mentor to the player in the ways of the Force
• T3-M4, a battered, talkative astromech droid

The site contains information on six worlds--the Ebon Hawk, Peragus II, Telos, Dxun and Onderon, Dantooine, and Koriban--as well as details on four weapons: the Force Pike, Kyber Darts, Charric and Arg'garok. In addition, the site offers a number of downloadable bonuses for fans, including screensavers, wallpaper, and AIM icons.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is scheduled for release on the Xbox on December 6, 2004. The PC version of the game will follow in February 2005.
