More Scouting for Dragon Quest VIII

Following up on our on Dragon Warrior VIII's scout system, we have fresh new details from Square Enix. Players can capture monsters that run around the main screen by battling them like a regular battle, the main difference being a new "scout" option that appears after the battle ends. Players will be able to choose a team of three captured creatures to replace the current heroes in battle. Also, players will be able to battle other teams of monsters for fun and prizes in a place called "Monster Battle Road."

Dragon Quest VIII is scheduled for a Japanese release on November 27 of this year. Again, a North American release has not been announced.
