Anarchy Online Offers 14-day Free Trial

Funcom has announced a new distribution model for its science fiction MMORPG, Anarchy Online. The new plan offers new players a free full version of the game, with the first 14 days' subscription included.

Funcom President and CEO Tronde Arne Aas said the new model would "significantly lower the entrance barrier" for new players. "Anarchy Online has established itself as one of the finest MMORPGs on the market, and with this initiative we believe that even more players will try our game," Aas said.

After the 14-day trial, monthly subscription rates range from $7.95 to $14.95 per month, depending on the length of the subscription plan chosen. The free full version does not include access to the Shadowlands and Alien Invasion expansion packs; both must be upgraded separately. For more information, see Anarchy Online's official website.
