Microsoft Sells Asheron's Call Franchise

Turbine Entertainment Software recently announced that the company has purchased the Asheron's Call franchise from Microsoft. The two companies have been partners since 1996, and together they launched the first Asheron's Call in 1999. This release was followed by expansions and even a sequel entitled Asheron's Call 2: Fallen Kings.

Turbine now exclusively owns Asheron's Call, but Microsoft will provide testing and billing services during the transitional period. Turbine intends to provide more information regarding operations in the future.
