Ys VI Destined for Console

Falcom recently announced its intentions to port Ys VI: Ark of Napishtim to an unspecified console sometime this year. The game was released for PC in Japan this past September, and remakes of the first two titles in the series were released in August for the PlayStation 2 as Ys Eternal.

The console port of Ys VI is scheduled for September 2004. It has been over a decade since an Ys title has been released in North America, and it is unlikely that Ys VI will break the trend.
