Final Fantasy XI Speed Cheats Acknowledged

Square Enix's PlayOnline service has acknowledged that some players have made their Final Fantasy XI characters move faster than default settings by using non-game software. This is a violation of PlayOnline's User Agreements and Policies, and can result in account cancellation and/or a ban from further usage of PlayOnline services.

Square Enix is currently working to correct this and prevent further cheating. All players who find their characters moving at oddly hastened speeds should stop the related devices and applications affecting gameplay, as even unintentional cheating may result in a cancellation or ban.
