Dragon Quest V Details Emerge

Square Enix has just announced some details concerning the PlayStation 2 port of Dragon Quest V. It was revealed that the rerelease will feature an internal game clock which will allow for nighttime and daytime changes. Also to be included in the new version will be animation for enemies during battle. There will also be up to four characters now in battle instead of the original three.

While a date has not been confirmed for its release, the game is on Square Enix's docket for the current fiscal year. Japanese RPGamers and importers should expect to see it before April 1, 2004.
