Two New Arc the Lad Titles Announced
Arc the Lad

Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed its plans for the future of the Arc the Lad series. The company announced that it is currently working on two new titles: One for the WonderSwan Color, and another for the PlayStation 2. Both games are planned for a 2002 Japanese release.

The WonderSwan Color game is a spin-off from the main series and will be entitled Arc The Lad: Kijin Fukkatsu. It will star Elk, a central character in Arc the Lad II. The PS2 title will likely continue the main series; currently, no solid gameplay or story details about the game have been confirmed.

With Working Designs' Arc the Lad Collection localization of Arc the Lad I, II, and III on its way, North American audiences will finally get to experience this strategy RPG series. Whether the newly announced titles will be localized is unknown at this time; whatever the case, we will keep you up to date as these games make their way through development.
