Close on the heels of Ubi Soft's shipping confirmation of Legend of Alon D'ar comes the announcement of a special "Great RPG Giveaway," which will allow gamers who purchase any two of Ubi Soft's PlayStation 2 RPGs (Legend of Alon D'ar, Grandia II, or Jade Cocoon 2) to get the third for free. Interested players will be required to mail a completed redemption card, original proof of purchases, and original or photocopied receipts in a stamped envelope to Ubi Soft, at which time Ubi Soft will ship the third game for free.

Ubi Soft's offer will run from December 1, 2001 to March 31, 2002. During this time a national print campaign will be held, including advertisements and special inserts inside the promoted games. Postage will be paid by Ubi Soft for orders in the continental United States. The first game in the promotion, Legend of Alon D'ar, is currently shipping, while the others, Jade Cocoon 2 and Grandia II, will be available on December 18th and January 22nd, respectively.
