Sony has announced the release date for the third game in their Wild ARMs series, and to go along with it there will be a special edition for Japanese gamers. Those who purchase the special edition, which will cost 8800 yen ($73.00 US) will receive a number of extras with their game, including an action figure, a ring, and a support for the figure.

Wild ARMs Advanced 3rd follows the story of Virginia Maxwell, a gun-toting heroine, as her and her allies seek to bring peace to the troubled land of Filgaia. Sony has announced the game will be released in Japan on January 31st, 2002. No North American release has yet been confirmed.
