Final Fantasy X Soundtrack Dated
Final Fantasy X

In a press release today, Tokyopop Soundtrax announced that the soundtrack for Square's highly anticipated Final Fantasy X will be hitting stores across the continent on the 2nd of January, side-by-side with the game itself. The soundtrack features an eclectic melting pot of styles, from hard rock and classical to Asian themes.

"Final Fantasy X represents the pinnacle of RPG gaming, with stunning graphics, an addictive game play system, and beautiful CG graphics," Tokyopop Brand Manager Ken Lee said. "It has a range and depth of composition never before heard from a video game soundtrack."

Featuring sixteen tracks hand-picked by long-time FF composer Nobuo Uematsu, the disc runs 70 minutes and is comprised of compositions by Junya Nakano, Masashi Hamauzu and Uematsu himself. Interested parties can expect to shell out a measly $14.98 for the soundtrack when it arrives in North America in January.
