In an effort to promote the LCD Monitor for the PSone console, Sony has announced plans to re-release 45 classic PlayStation titles under the PSone Books series. The collection contains many of Sony's own titles, but there are a number of third party offerings as well. As is to be expected, there are also a number of RPGs on the list. In fact, nearly a quarter of the games announced are RPGs, including:

• Arc the Lad
• Arc the Lad 2
• Arc the Lad 3
• King's Field
• King's Field II
• Little Princess in Marle Kingdom
• Popolocrois
• Popolocrois II
• Super Robot Taisen Alpha
• Wild Arms
• Wild Arms: 2nd Ignition

The PSone Books series is currently planned for release in Japan, where the titles will sell for between 1800 and 2200 yen (a range of approximately $15.00 - $18.00 US.) Whether this collection will see a North American equivalent (for example, an extension to the pre-existing Greatest Hits collection) remains to be seen.
