Global Folktale Under Development by Idea Factory
Given the current scarcity of RPGs for the PlayStation 2, Idea Factory's announcement of an in-development RPG for the console comes as a breath of fresh air. The game is titled Global Folktale, and is tentatively scheduled for a Japanese release sometime next year.

No gameplay or story details have been yet made known, but a large cast of characters appears likely, as players will command parties of up to eight characters. RPGamer will bring you more details as they become available.
