Square has announced a release date for its latest portable RPG, Wild Card. This new game for the WonderSwan Color is now slated for release in Japan in February 2001. Although it is believed that the WonderSwan Color will be coming to North America, no official word has been given on its release here, or that of Wild Card.

Wild Card is a new RPG centered around cards. Cards are used to display characters, items, and more; likely, cards will also play heavily into the battle system. However, little is currently known about this WonderSwan Color RPG. Stay tuned to RPGamer's continuing coverage for more information as it is available.
