Pokémon is coming. With less than a week to go from the North American release of the next portable title, the hype has only begun. Not to be outdone with the abundance of recent game parties, Nintendo plans to top them all.

The children of Fort Knox are in for a real treat tomorrow, October 10th, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Nintendo will showcase Pokémon Gold/Silver, as well as Pokémon Puzzle League and Hey You, Pikachu!. Surrounded by military escort, Pikachu will personally bring in hundreds of Gold and Silver cartridges to be given away to hundreds of fans. Also in the parade will be the five Lugia PT Cruisers that have been traveling the nation for the last two months. Other planned activites include face painting, sing-a-longs, Pokémon Adventure training and much more.

Pokémon Gold/Silver have already proven to be another major hit, with over 600,000 pre-orders. Nintendo projects over 10 million will be sold overall in the first six months. The addition of 100 Pokémon, 8 new badges, and a whole new world to explore are only the beginning of the new things awaiting avid Pokémon Trainers. Gotta catch 'em all.
