What's the occasion for Ubisoft to release a new minute-and-a-half trailer for South Park: The Fractured but Whole? Why, simply to let us know that the game has "gone gold." In other words, the game is ready for release and has been shipped off to be printed, packaged, and shipped. In the meantime, it's the gamers that are the real winners, being able to watch a new scene from the game while they're waiting for the upcoming release date.

The follow-up to 2014's The Stick of Truth, The Fractured but Whole takes place the next day, with a revamped combat system and a focus on lampooning the superhero movie genre as opposed to fantasy RPGs the last time around. The game will release on October 17, 2017, and will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
