inXile Entertainment today released a remastered version of 2004 title The Bard's Tale on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America. The game is available to download now for $9.99. A European release is planned to follow soon though no exact date was given.

The Bard's Tale is a separate entity to the 1980s trilogy of the same name. The game follows the titular bard whose quest is narrated by another man who rather dislikes him. The Bard's Tale was originally released for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in 2004 before being ported to PC in 2005 and was later also released on Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.
