Idea Factory International revealed that Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online will be released for PlayStation 4 in North America on October 10, 2017, and in Europe on October 13, 2017. The publisher also announced that the planned Steam PC version of the game has been pushed back to early 2018. Along with the announcement, some new screenshots and gameplay footage is available showing off the game's combat system.

The latest spin-off for the Neptunia series, Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online is a  cooperative hack-and-slash title with multiplayer for up to four players. The game is developed by Compile Heart and Tamsoft and sees the series' protagonists acting as beta testers for the new version of a fictional online game.
