Koei Tecmo put out some new media for its upcoming release of Gust's Nights of Azure 2 in North America and Europe. Along with some new screenshots and details regarding the level up system, the publisher also released a new trailer introducing the main cast members.

Combat in Nights of Azure 2 involves a party featuring main protagonist Aluche, an NPC selected by the player, and up to two Servans. Each member brings unique skills and different styles to combat, such as the Tricker type Scharf, a canine who uses electric spheres to paralyze enemies. Tricker Servans can evolve to change form and go through a process called Reincarnation to boost their stats. Meanwhile, Aluche discovers that she can use the blood of slain enemies to boost her abilities, with players able to choose upgrades that fits with their desired play style.

Nights of Azure 2 is set to be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in North America on October 21, 2017 and in Europe on October 24, 2017.
