XSEED Games has released two English versions of the character trailers recently released in Japan for Akiba's Beat. These English videos focus on main protagonist Asahi Tachibana, a nineteen-year-old NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) in Akibahara, as well as Saki Hoshino, an eighteen-year-old student who is already familiar with the strange erosions that begin to afflict Akibahara in the game.

Akiba's Beat is being developed by Acquire and is set for release in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on October 13, 2016. XSEED Games will be releasing the game in North America on those same platforms, with the game currently planned for a winter release.
