Chroma Squad

Bandai Namco announced that it is partnering with Brazilian developer Behold Studios to bring the latter's tactical RPG Chroma Squad to consoles and handhelds. The game, which was funded through Kickstarter and released for PC, Mac, and Linux through Steam in 2015, will also be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PlayStation Vita in early 2017. Bandai Namco is also promising another PC release on Steam, though it is unclear how it relates to the currently available version.

Chroma Squad is heavily inspired by tokusatsu series such Power Rangers, and Kamen Rider. The game sees a group of five stunt actors splitting from their current employer to develop their own series. Players are tasked with not just defeating enemies during its episodes, but doing so in a visually appealing way so as to appease the audience. The game features multiple story routes as well as management sim aspects as players upgrade their studio equipment. Those interested can read more in RPGamer's review of the original PC release.
