NIS America has announced that it is releasing an all-in-one port for the second game in its long-running tactical RPG franchise. Disgaea 2 PC will feature all of the content from the original PlayStation 2 release as well as the additional content from the PlayStation Portable version of the game, Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. The game will release on PC and Mac via Steam on January 5, 2017, with an updated UI, keyboard and mouse controls, and three characters new to the west. No price was given for the release.

A special companion package is being produced for collectors. The "Disgaea Desktop Deal" retails for $79.96 and comes with the following:

• Disgaea 2 PC Collector's Art Book + 5 Art prints (code for digital art book included)
• Disgaea 2 PC Desk Mat
• Disgaea: Hour of Darkness Premium Soundtrack
• Disgaea PC Mouse Pad

It should be noted that a copy of Disgaea 2 PC is not included, physical or digital. NIS America is currently accepting pre-orders for the package on its store.

In Disgaea 2, the Overlord Zenon has cursed the land, leading it and its people to chaos and ruin. A young man named Adell is uniquely unaffected by its magic and teams up with an unusual group of misfits in order to try and stop the Zenon.
