Obsidian has published its first entry in its video developer diary for its RPG Tyranny. The video, the first of three, focuses on the concept, setting, and story for the game, as well as how decision making works and how those decisions can affect the world.

Tyranny takes place on the peninsula of Tiers, the last refuge where the overlord Kyros' reign has not yet been consolidated. Players take control of one of the Fatebinders, a executor of Kyros' will, sent to take control of Tiers. Throughout the game, players will make decisions that have long-reaching ramifications and the game is being designed with multiple playthroughs in mind. The game is set to arrive for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2016.
