Japanese publisher Kadokawa Games released the opening movie for it and developer Experience Inc.'s upcoming dungeon crawler sequel, Demon Gaze II. The two-minute video, viewable below, is fully animated and shows some of the key characters in the game.
Demon Gaze II is set in the city-state of Asteria. Surrounded by the ocean, Asteria has seen rapid expansion following the success of the inn/tavern Stella's Place. Demon Gaze II stars Signa, who was raised in an orphanage. He joins forces with his follow orphans — including Muse, the manager of Stella's Place and Signa's childhood friend — to form a group of revolutionaries to search for the woman who raised them and who has disappeared.
Demon Gaze II takes place several years after the first game, though two characters — Prometh and Cassel Glondike — will be returning for the sequel. Demon Gaze II will be released in Japan on October 13, 2016, exclusively for PlayStation Vita. No announcement has been made regarding a possible western release.
