Bandai Namco has announced plans to hold online Server Tests for Dark Souls III on PlayStation 4. These tests, which Bandai Namco was quick to point out will not be a demo, will have players participating in an under-development portion of the game. Testers should expect to run into bugs and actively report them as they are found.
Applicants will be chosen by a lottery so the process is not first come, first served. Those interested will need an internet connection, a PlayStation 4, a Sony Entertainment Network account, and must be able to participate in all listed event times. Additionally, American players must have a PlayStation Plus account, though this is not a requirement for Europe.
Applications, schedules, and additional information can be found through here. Dark Souls III releases in April 2016.
