Digital Extremes and n-Space will be offering early access to their upcoming licensed Dungeons & Dragons RPG, Sword Coast Legends. The Head Start Access program will be available to PC, Mac, and Linux players starting from September 11, 2015, with the game's release coming on September 29, 2015. Sword Coast Legends is also planned for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later in 2015.

Head Start Access will be made up of three sessions. The first session will take place from September 11 to September 13, and will be available to members of the Design Council, which includes those who pre-ordered one of the Limited Edition Collector’s or Campaign Collector’s packs. The second session will run from September 18 to September 20, with all of those who pre-ordered the game able to join in. These two sessions will focus primarily on the game's multiplayer Dungeon Master mode revolving around campaign creation and dungeon crawling, with the game's story campaign not available during these sessions.

The final session will last from September 24 to the full release on September 29. In this last session all pre-orders will again have access to the Dungeon Master mode, with Design Council members granted access to the story campaign. Those who wish to join the Head Start Access program will need to have registered their pre-order on SwordCoast.com, with access details to be sent by e-mail starting the week of September 11, 2015.
