SideQuest Studios and eastasiasoft have announced that Rainbow Skies and its predecessor, Rainbow Moon, will be making their way to the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 version joins the previously-released PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions for Rainbow Moon, with Rainbow Skies planned for release on all three platforms.

The announcement came with news of another delay, as Rainbow Skies is now planned for the second half of 2016. The PS4 version of Rainbow Moon is set to arrive sometime in 2016 as well. Both titles will support Cross-Save functionality.

Rainbow Moon is a tactical RPG released digitally back in 2012. Rainbow Skies was announced in 2013 with a planned release in 2014 that was later pushed back to 2015.
