Nintendo of America and Atlus USA have announced that they will be releasing a special Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth version of the Nintendo 3DS XL handheld console. The edition features a Grimoire design on the front, based on the tomes used in the series by the Velvet Room's attendants, as well as some of the new character designs used for the game on the back.

The Persona Q Edition 3DS XL will be available exclusively through GameStop, with a suggested retail price of $199.99. It will not include a copy of the game, which must be purchased separately. Persona Q is due out in North America on November 25, 2014, with NIS America releasing the title in Europe on November 28, 2014. Nintendo of Europe has said there are no plans to release the Persona Q Edition 3DS XL in the region.
