Midnight City and Double Fine have announced a release date for Costume Quest 2, the follow-up to the 2010 adventure RPG. The game will be released for PC, Mac, and Linux through Steam on October 7, 2014. Costume Quest 2 is also set to be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, although no date has been confirmed for those versions at this time.

The game can currently be pre-ordered in two bundles on Steam. The $14.99/€14.99/£10.99 bundle includes the game plus four costumes from the original, while the $19.99/€19.99/£14.99 bundle includes both the first and second games, the Grubbins on Ice DLC, and the four costumes.
