Pokémon Trading Card Game, a video game simulation of the long-running physical TCG for the Game Boy Color, will soon be released on the European Nintendo eShop for the 3DS's Virtual Console. This game will hit the eShop on July 10, 2014 for €4.99/£4.49.

The Pokémon Trading Card Game for GBC was originally released in Europe on December 15, 2000. This game contains most cards from the Base Set, Jungle and Fossil expansions, as well as many exclusive cards. It will be the first game in the Pokémon franchise to be released on the 3DS Virtual Console in any region. A North American release has not been announced.
